Technology and Teaching

 Integrating Technology Into Teaching

Most schools objective is having students achieve high grades using the old fashioned way of teaching which on works on reading writing and memorizing. These ways will prevent students from thinking and will overwhelm boring atmosphere on the class which will build an barrier between students, teacher and the subject, as long learning means grades to them which is something un useful outside school.

But Integrating technology into teaching resulted a high success with numbers showed in last years, in which it results in many advantages:

1.Less transition time:

when the teacher prepares lesson objectives at home based on an organized concept map on a PowerPoint file he be on time moving with students syllabus, in which students are concentrated and taking objectives seriously. Moreover the information implemented are easy to get reached anytime so nothing to loose time on searching for or getting back to it.

2.Skills to acquire knowledge:

when students using computers or tablets to reach information, they getting advantage of wide variety on information on web which is different than the closed circle in book. This will make them go wider in there research and studying, in which the more the teacher provide them with informal assessment and lesson preparing the more they will get used and acquire these skills.

3. Cooprative students:

As the teacher presents his lesson in a systematic way using screens and tech students are more interested and willing to attend more when ever the teacher asks .Thus they will cooperate and try to engage when they feel safe in such a well provided atmosphere.

4.Use what they study in there real life:

The more the lesson is connected with real life examples and especially through virtual solids and pictures adhered to them. Students will love the subject in which its useful to use in there society.

Reflection about EDUC 561

 1.

This lecture makes me as a student acquire a new skill in every single lecture. one of these skills is creating a blog and how to use it, more over it helped me as a teacher perform better in preparing, implementing and organizing my lesson objectives through many sides like google sites, which i used as very efficient way to make preparing and build my materials on an easy concept.

2.

Many positive reflections seem to dominate the overall picture of the class, where it's a practical way of learning using PCs outside the era of books and pencils, to the side of applying group work sufficiently effected my attitudes towards the subject and made it easier and much more understandable and especially in assessments, formative and ssumptive. Beside the class climate where the on the on-task behavior dominates.

3.

The common thing, which I think everyone agrees me on is to switch the computers in the lab to more advanced ones, anything else is going well.
